July 7th 2009 was
the 20th Anniversary of Seven Star T'ai Chi School (the original name for my school). The
D.B.A. was created and classes commenced. Twenty years have flown by. Knowledge has been aquired, ego has
dropped away, humble spiritual growth has taken its place. So many changes in my life. What I learned,
I have yet to learn. Special people crossing my path...students, teachers, assistance, friends-my Love is deep
for all. Thank you, each and everyone of you, for making it possible.

Wake the Sleeping Healer....
My eyes open, it's 6:30am. The birds begin to sing. The window is open, it's SPRING!!
The days are getting longer. The smell of Spring is in the air. The Robins are back! Have you been hibernating
all Winter? It's time to wake up. Feel the warmth. Move your body. Take in a deep breath! Yes,
it is time to wake the sleeping Healer within. Start with a few slow T'ai Chi movements in the morning. If
you have been hibernating all Winter and not exercising, then it is time to begin...again. If your Inner Healer has
been dormant for a while, Wake it Up! Join me Thursday March 26th at the North Syracuse Public Library 6:30pm for a
workshop on T'ai Chi.

Why Marriage?
Friends: I want to thank each and everyone of you for the beautiful emails, cards and blessings I
have received since my marriage to Steve. I can't believe it has been 1 month already. Time really does fly
by even when you try to capture it and slow it down. I was just re-reading a reading from my wedding that my friend
from Houston Texas read at the Wedding. We have been friends for 50 years. I wanted to share this reading with
you all if there is enough room here as it is so beautiful. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did. It is entitled:
Why Marriage by Mari Nichols.... Because to the depths of me, I long
to love one person, with all my heart, my soul, my mind, my body..because I need a forever friend to trust with the intimacies
of me, who won't hold them against me, who loves me when I am unlikable, who sees the small child in me and who looks
for the divine potential of me...Because I need to cuddle in the warmth of the night with someone who thanks God for me, with
someone I feel blessed to hold...Because Marriage means opportunity to grow in love and friendship...Because Marriages do
not fail, people fail when they enter into marriage expecting another to make them whole...Because, knowing this, I promise
myself to take full responsibility for my spiritual, mental and physical wholeness, I create me, I take half the responsibility
for my marriage together we create our marrage..Because with this understanding the possibilities are limitless. You
are a part of everything I think and do and feel, and with you by my side, I believe that anything is possible. This
day gives me a chance to thank you for the miracle of you..You are, and always will be, the love of my life.

Tao Te Ching Seventy-Six A man is born gentle and weak. At his death he is hard and stiff. Green plants are tender and filled with sap. At their death
they are withered and dry. Therefore the stiff and unbending is the disciple of death. The
gentle and yielding is the disciple of life. Thus and army without flexibility never wins a battle. A tree
that is unbending is easily broken. The hard and strong will fall. The soft and weak will overcome. (consider the waters hitting the rocks).
