July 7th 2009 was
the 20th Anniversary of Seven Star T'ai Chi School (the original name for my school). The
D.B.A. was created and classes commenced. Twenty years have flown by. Knowledge has been aquired, ego has
dropped away, humble spiritual growth has taken its place. So many changes in my life. What I learned,
I have yet to learn. Special people crossing my path...students, teachers, assistance, friends-my Love is deep
for all. Thank you, each and everyone of you, for making it possible.

Happy New Year
Fresh, New, Exciting....that is what a New Year should be. This will be
my Best New Year Ever! I hope it will be for all of you too. New Years is a time to reflect on your past and create
a better than ever future. If you know where you have come from, then it will be easy to know where you are going.
Don't repeat past mistakes, they are there only for you to learn from. Your choices are endless! Whether you choose
to be happy, or choose not to be happy....it will be a self fulfilling prophesy. So, choose Happiness! Love and
be Loved! Care and be Cared For! Learn and be Educated! Think your Thoughts carefully, or choose not to
Think, Let Go and Let the Higher Powers that Be take care of ALL things. The Mind is a Wonderful Thing! Happy
New Year, Love Randie Lynn

A Time of Reflection
Friends-My wish for each and everyone of you is to have a safe and happy holiday season. This is a wonderful time of
year to reflect over your past and create fresh new starts for your future. T'ai Chi is always fresh and new each
and every time you begin. Build on your past experience. T'ai Chi should never be old or boring always look
for the new fresh perspective. I have recently uncovered my Holy Grail. A book of notes on T'ai Chi and Chi
Kung from seminars with Masters. It has given me a new perspective, not just on T'ai Chi but on Life. As I
ponder many of the entries they have given me new insights. Much of our past we must let go of gracefully so we can
grow as Beings. Find depth and new meaning in all you do. As it is written...Mountain-Not Mountain-Mountain.....Look
Deeper! Be Safe, Happy Holidays. With Love, Randie

Tao Te Ching Seventy-Six A man is born gentle and weak. At his death he is hard and stiff. Green plants are tender and filled with sap. At their death
they are withered and dry. Therefore the stiff and unbending is the disciple of death. The
gentle and yielding is the disciple of life. Thus and army without flexibility never wins a battle. A tree
that is unbending is easily broken. The hard and strong will fall. The soft and weak will overcome. (consider the waters hitting the rocks).
